Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) has written to FDA Commissioner Margaret Hamburg to urge FDA action to curb seafood labeling fraud. Citing the recent Oceana study, Senator Boxer asks, in the attachment to her letter of October 15, for detailed information on FDA's current programs to detect and reduce economic fraud in seafood labeling.
