On January 4, FDA released the Proposed Rules under the FSMA for both Produce Safety and for Risk-Based Preventative Controls. We will be preparing reviews of both documents for submission to the American Agricultural Law Association and will post our reviews on this Blog in due course. These are lengthy documents – the Produce Proposed Rule is 547 pages and the Risk-Based Controls Rule runs to 680 pages.
