The House Energy and Commerce Committee has issued a Report on the 2011 Listeria monocytogenes Outbreak associated with Cantaloupe. The Report is highly critical of the role of third-party auditors and inspectors in the conditions that led to the outbreak. Food Safety professionals are cautioned to read the documents posted below and not to rely upon the reports of so-called "journalists" on this important matter.
